Huawei is soon to unveil its new smartphones under the Nova 5 series, for which speculation and rumors have started making rounds. The most recent one throws light on the possible attractive specs the devices might carry.
According to a post on Weibo, Huawei has announced that it will soon be a company with two processors based on 7nm technology. While the Kirin 980 is already a 7nm node processor, the second one could be an upcoming one, which the Nova 5 series will have.
Although Huawei did not reveal the name of the next-gen processor, we are assuming that it could be called Kirin 810.
In addition to this, the Nova 5 series will comprise the Nova 5, the Nova 5 Pro, and the Nova 5i. Another rumor suggests that the Nova 5 series is expected to come with support for 40W super fast charging tech, which is expected to charge the smartphones by up to 85% in half an hour.
The Nova 5 is expected to feature a four-camera setup at the back, rated at 48MP, 16MP, 2MP, and 2MP. The cameras will support AI-based camera features.
Furthermore, the Nova 5 series is likely to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As we lack concrete details, we still have to wait until the smartphones get launched. The Huawei Nova 5 series will launch on June 21. So, stay tuned to Fossbytes for a conclusive idea.
